Terms & Conditions

LAST UPDATED: MAY 2026

Welcome to Webulux. By accessing our website, applying for a free revenue leak audit, or engaging our engineering and optimization services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Nature of Services

Webulux provides performance engineering, technical Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), speed refactoring, and headless storefront development for ecommerce merchants. All projects, including one-time speed sprints and ongoing performance retainers, are governed by individual statements of work (SOW) which override any conflicting data on this website.

2. Audit Eligibility & Submissions

Our Free Revenue Leak Audit is heavily selective and reserved exclusively for active storefronts meeting specific ad spend benchmarks. Webulux reserves the absolute right to reject any audit application without providing justification. By submitting your store URL and email address, you grant our team permission to run non-invasive technical speed tests on your public-facing storefront.

3. Store Access and Safety

To execute technical optimizations, clients must provide necessary staff or partner-level permissions to their Shopify admin, code repositories, and DNS management tools. Webulux agrees to perform all code changes in duplicate theme environments or staging branches before deploying to live production environments. The client retains ultimate responsibility for verifying critical backend dependencies during deployment periods.

4. Fees, Billing, and Retainers

Project fees, retainer invoices, and payment cycles are explicitly mapped in your project agreement. Ongoing optimization retainers operate on a monthly recurring basis and require written notice for cancellation as specified in your contract. Failure to clear invoices on scheduled dates may result in the immediate suspension of developer environments and technical monitoring services.

5. Intellectual Property

Upon the complete settlement of all outstanding invoices, ownership of any custom scripts, refactored Liquid templates, or bespoke Next.js codebase configurations passes entirely to the client. Webulux retains the right to utilize anonymized technical metrics, load speed data graphs, and structural methodology case studies derived from the optimization process for public marketing and diagnostic purposes.

6. Limitation of Technical Liability

While our code refactoring targets strict performance benchmarks (such as Largest Contentful Paint under 1.5s), external factors including Shopify native server updates, automated third-party merchant applications, script updates by pixel providers, or broad ad platform volatility are beyond the scope of Webulux. We are not liable for lost revenue, data discrepancies, or script blockages caused by uncoordinated changes made by client staff or foreign apps post-optimization.

7. Modifications to Terms

Webulux reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time to reflect changing browser requirements, third-party platform rules, or updated agency capabilities. Continued use of our tools, assets, or consulting channels following any updates implies direct acceptance of the newly deployed terms.

8. Contact Information
